How Do You Attract Prospects to Your MLM Business?

One of the things I've learned in multi-level marketing is building a network of distributors who can market and acquire a large base of happy product customers who have nothing to do with the business.

One problem I have seen as a result of the internet is that most MLM companies have built systems that focus and cater to weaknesses rather than strengths. And we all know that catering to weakness is not very productive. In fact, it is lethal.

I see many articles that describe over and over what Mike Dillard refers to in his Magnetic Sponsoring Program on how most network marketers are unintentionally doing the wrong thing. For example, Mike refers to them as homebuilders, except when they fail to build their house, the go back to the tool store and try a new hammer or power tool. When network marketers continue to do this over and over again, they have lost the realization that it is the skill and knowledge of the person using the tool that matters, and not the company or the compensation plan. Hence, the importance of building relationships with prospects who truly want to help themselves and others.

When I first begain network marketing, I RIGOROUSLY sought after the experts or "gurus" who could offer me tools, strategies, and tips for increasing my exposure on the internet.

The Three R's To Maintaining Momentum In Social Network Marketing

This is my first blog post related to the three things that I have learned throughout my 38 years in education.

Reflecting on these years, I have come to learn that to achieve any goal, one must maintain powerful focus in reaching success.

Let's talk about the first R: Rigor

R: Rigor- Every one who wants to reach a goal must maintain rigor by increasing momentum towards that goal. Rigor in anything results in successful outcomes. Do your best in creating a visual journal with pictures, words, and thought provoking quotes that help you keep your rigor on high speed. Keep your rigor in check by visiting your journal every day. Make time for yourself and sharpen your saw when the blade gets dull.

R: Relevance- Most individuals spend their time doing things that are meaningful and make them feel good. When trying to create new friends on social networking sites, always give options to the reader or member to get to know you by telling them something personal about you. A courteous thing to do is check out their bio or profile first and say something nice about what you have learned about them. Don't pitch a line about your business or offer. We all get enough of that as it is. Find out if you and a possible new friend can be of "relevance" to each other. I have met so many friends that have given me relevant information that is meaningful to me. That's why I like to pick and choose my friends.

Remember, your friends are like elevators, they can either bring you up or bring you down. Don't let the latter happen to you.

R: Relationships- Once your Rigor is on high speed and your Relevance is keeping momentum, your Relationships will flourish. When you feel good about yourself, others can see that and more than likely will want to become your networking friend. When you create value for any of your new friends, many positive things will continue to blossom.
