1. 2008 was a record revenue year for Nu Skin. The best in their 24
year history. This in spite of a dismal year for the economy.
2. December was the best month in the history of the company.
3. December commissions were $49.8 million
4. Every market in the Americas / Europe reported double digit
year over year growth.
5. 2008 commissions were just shy of $600 million.
6. Scott reviewed many of the companies who are members of
the Direct Sellers Association and who consider themselves
our competitors and our commissions for 2008 exceeded the
annual sales of 95% of them.
7. A new millionaire is created every 10 days somewhere in the 48
countries they do business in!
8. A new thousandaire is created every 90 minutes!
9. The Galvanic Spa was introduced over 5 years ago. 2008 saw
500% growth of the Galvanic Spa around the world this year alone.
10. The Galvanic Spa was introduced into China in December. Sales
of the Spa were limited to just '5' days as the formal launch of the
Spa will be this month. In those '5' days, 6,000 Galvanic Spas were sold.
11. Nu Skin built a new factory in Singapore to build Galvanic Spas because
the demand was greater than our ability to produce them in a timely fashion.
We now can fulfill any orders that come in.
12. In Oct. Nu Skin released the first segment of our anti-aging solution called
ageLOC. The Galvanic Gels are the first product to contain ageLOC. Soon
multiple products will contain it including a daily use package and a
supplement for internal use.
13. Forbes Magazine just last week listed Nu Skin's stock as a "BUY".
